They are trying to make the smallmouth bass the state fish for Ohio ! Haven't they heard of Lake Erie The Walleye Capital of the World ! We need your vote goto www.daytondailynews.com and place your vote !Right now the CARP is beating the WALLEYE .

I would expect nothing less from a cheesehead ,Thanks ! They taste about as good as smallmouth bass .

I saw where they want to name the smallmouth the "official" fish for Ohio. Knowing that Lake Erie is the "Walleye Capitol", I contacted ODNR about it. According to them, the Smallmouth Bass can be found in all 88 counties in Ohio. Not Walleye. Hence, the Bass gets the nod!

Believe you may have mispelled the name of the first....repectfully submit it should be cra-, not car-. By the way, what's the difference between the two? :)

Just read an article in the newspaper that this bill is now dead in the state of Ohio legislature.

I voted for smallmouth bass. I have to do something to get even for Ohio St. beating my Wolverines last fall. REVENGE is a dish best served cold.

NOo matter how much we dislike the state of OHIO {ex trucker} friends dont let friends fish for bass.or vote for them.
