Did anyone do the Youth Waterfowl in Minnesota? I took my little cousin out for some shooting. There was a lot of shells shot at 6 ducks 3 Mallards (2 drakes), and 3 (2 blue wing) Teal. It did however take 48 shots to get them!! Funny to watch the wad fly 4 feet behind it!!! We were hunting inbetween Green Isle and Belle Plain!

My son and a good friend of his took their two kids out on Saturday morning. My son brought his 13 year old daughter,and his frend brought his 13 year old son. When they first got to the pond they took out the Jon boat to put out their decoys. Of course they chased up ducks to do this. About 9:30 while they were waiting for ducks,three Mallards came in to land in the decoys. Bang! Bang! Bang! and the ducks kept flying. The two dads were sitting right behind them with s big grin. The two kids loved it. They sat until around noon and then decided to jump some potholes. Being the Granpa of the girl, Iwas very proud of her and I told her so. I think that the Youth duck hunting is a great experiance for these kids.
