I may have asked this before, I don't know. I had a source all lined up (Angler's Edge in Welland, Ont) but it appears the phone number on the webpage in no longer in service, so not in business I would guess.

Any other tackle distributors out there with good stuff preferably in bulk ie. for jigheads and plastics?

I can't find one out there for the life of me. Remember...BULK is what I'm after, not 10 jigheads for 6 bucks.

MOST IMPORTANT...in Canada in Canadian DOLLARS!!!

Thanks

TOM

Hi Tom,

I'm going to start making jigs within a couple of weeks. I got the lead and I'm buying 2 more molds. If you want to come over and pour them for virtually free you are more than welcome. By the way.......are you coming on Saturday?

Roger.

Tom,

Try LeBaron's http://www.lebaron.ca/english/index.htm. I'm not sure what their pricing is like but it's worth a shot.

Try this link I know that there are some bulk dealers but I'm not sure about pricing.

All I'm looking for is 1/4 and 3/8oz. round heads. If you've got, I'm there. You'll just have to tell me what size hooks to fit the moulds. An insert head for tube jigs would be nice too...wink, wink!

I'm about 95% sure about coming on Saturday. Check out the weather today! Fishing from noon until about 5 or 6 would probabliy be best, no? I don't want to get stuck in real cold temps again...especially with wind...my face felt like an old catchers mitt after the Superior outing!

Talk to you later

Tom,

Show up when you want to but the best time is in the morning. I'll be out there at daybreak. You see.....I don't have the travel time that you do. I can be on the lake and fishing as soon as I walk down the steps!!!

I have 1/4 oz round head mold. I'll see what I can do about the other sizes.

Roger.

It ain't got nothing to do with the time or drive...I just don't feel like freezing my butt off when the afternoons are relatively nice out. I know I may miss the bite, but that's just the way she goes!

Tom: 2 more options, both Canadian, in CDN$:

1. www.wholesalesports.com

2. www.thefishinhole.com

I don't know for sure if the bulk products are listed online, but I do remember seeing bulk orders in their catalogues (which are either available or can be requested online), and both sites have email links for questions like yours.

I have been in both stores, both are reputable companies by all accounts.

Also, go to www.griffintackle.homestead.com

I ordered some spinner rigs there last year - were very easy to deal with. Told them I was Canadian (as they are) and they had no trouble quoting CDN$ prices.

Their site says they are just adding jigs to the lineup - ask them about their bulk pricing. As I said - they are not hard to talk to.

Good luck.
