I am considering purchasing a .17 HMR for gopher shooting. Does any one have a suggestion on which make and model?

I have a Ruger Model 77 with a 4x20 scope on it. I shoot pocket gophers, ground squirrels, jack rabbits, and it does a good job on close in coyotes too. Love this gun. Good luck shopping for yours!

I have a Savage 93R17 teamed with a BSA Sweet 17 2x7 scope. VERY accurate. Set up claybirds at the range on the 100 yrd. berm. Breaking them is a "slam-dunk", the fun starts when You start picking off the pieces ! Will be useing it for GoundHogs this Spring/Summer. Bob
