About a year ago my Tri-Tronics unit stopped working. I have not had a need for it since then.

However I will need to start using it again in a few months. Any suggestions were it to send it in for service.

here ya go, Ivy:
"Collar Clinc" call 1-800-430-2010

The Tr-tronics collar I have I bought from them as a "re-man". That was about 10 years ago. I have had it repaired (battery replace)once...by them.
Good outfit.

My dogs get all excited when they see the collar...they start climbing on me because they want it on them.
When they have it on...they know they get to hunt.

Once they have been trained (a one session deal....few very short and simple reminders ...when they already knew they were doing what they were supposed be doing)....when you put it on them... you never have to actually use it.

Simply wearing the collar "improves their hearing" ...immensely. :)

Try contacting Tri-Tronics directly. They have great customer service and stand behind their products. I had a Sport 60 and dropped the remote in the water. I called them and sent it in. They got it fixed and back to me within two weeks. No charge and it was my fault. I would try them first and see what they can do for you. You might be plesantly surprised.

Thanks all. I was just e-mailed a photo of the litter of pups I get to pick one from. I won't need the collar for a while but now is the time to get it fixed.
