Any reports from NE pheasant opener last weekend?

Had 3 Birds by 8:00 am in the McCook area. With that being said, I felt that the road side count of birds were down and the over all amount of optimal cover was down. The two usally go hand in hand. I will have a better handle on it this week, because, I know I'll have to hunt much harder this coming weekend.
