I have hunted twice in Iowa ( South of Iowa City ). We just have not seen a lot of birds. I was curious if other people have not seen a lot of birds.

Bird #'s appear to be good in Nw Iowa.I've had a decent year and the guys I've had stay at the Resort have reported good #'s also.

I'll second that. we've had some success near SC, but you have to stage them by hunting predictable areas, pushing them into corners, etc. Also, NW Iowa the populations are much better than other areas of the state, check out this link.
