Just wondering how thick the ice is all over? I think there is 2-3 inches on Big Stone Lake!

A friendly causion. I just told my father of 88 what you had written. He responded that you should not be on Big Stone with less than 4 inches. It was his home lake and remembers alot of problems with springs. Please be careful. Statistics we do not need.

Devils Lake has between 6-9 inches in the bays. A lot of people are starting to hit the ice

The Portage Cannel between Houghton and Hancock froze over last night. I am not sure about the rest of the lake though.

I sure wish I was there now. We are always ready for the perch. I hope we will be relocated to the Big Stone area within the this year. In the mean time you catch them and enjoy. I love those perch. Merry Christmas

What would bring you to Big Stone? Employment, retirement or a business venture? Yes, fishing is still pretty descent! Caught 7 perch and 7 walleyes from 14-21 inches today.

Has anyone been to Mille Lacs since last weekend? How's the ice? Any fish?
