A freind of mine swears that the 3 days before and after the full moon are the best fishing for musky. How does the [hase of the moon effect walleye?? does it increase the day bite?? decrease the night bite?

Paul, it is a well documented fact that the moon phase does indeed alter walleye fishing. While I agree with the +,- three day theory, I have found that for the full moon, I catch more but smaller walleye. The new moon on the other hand has resulted in fewer but larger fish. I really don't care what the moon phase is, if I can get out and go fishing, I do. It's just a bonus to fish the +,- principal.
