I fish Saginaw Bay and a couple inland lakes. Mostly walleye, but perch, whitefish, pike also. Skeeter

Use the WALLEYE CENTRAL BUSINESS DIRECTORY "Skeeters Stuff" under marine supplies (boat cleaning supplies), it really does work.

I fish lake Winnebago System, I start in Poygan then work towards the big lake and hit the west side bays that freeze first then head out to the big water and for sturgeon spearing east side on red worm beds also I fish Green Bay (lake Mi.) ice and Shawano Lake I live right in the center of all three, just a short drive to all of them so I usally rotate them I have so much water to fish I rarly stay on one spot and if I get the chance I usally drive north of my place to a fine selection of all sorts of lakes. I wish I didnt have to work, I would never be board! Very busy outdoors year-round where Im from.

I fish NE SD and went out for a while today. I would like to ice fish somewhere where the wind wasn't blowing my hair off just once.

Castlerocky, I used to live in Camp Douglas. I've fished both of your lakes many times. I went back to Castle Rock last August and got myself 3 nice wallys. I now live in Sioux City, IA, but I'm in the military and get over to your area a few times a year. Maybe we can hook up sometime. I absolutely love that part of Wisconsin. My nephew lives in New Lisbon and my brother in law lives in Elroy.

I caught a 19 lb northern out of castle rock in 2001. I was trying to get some crappies and landed it on 6 lb test. The "well" is a great fishery in my opinion.

Cheers

Isn't that the truth. If we happen to get a day in the 30's or 40's in the winter months in NE SD, you can just about bet that the wind will be howling in from the South at 20-40 mph. Makes setting up and tearing down interesting when you are alone on pure ice (no snow). Luckily, I still haven't seen my Fish Trap go sailing across the ice yet.

In response to the topic, I fish Oahe and NE SD (obviously).

I have a cottage near Rhinelander,Wisconsin, so I love to ice fish that area as much as I can. My home is in NE Columbia County, Wisconsin, so I do most of my ice fishing around there. Fox Lake, Beaver Dam Lake, Lake Puckaway, Little Green Lake as well as many smaller lakes. I am blessed with a lot of possibilities.
