Does anyone know what the ice conditions are on Lake of The Woods?

As of Dec 5 at 1600 hrs, the ice is 5 1/4" thick with about 2 1/2" of snow on top.

Not sure where you heard that, or what part of the lake you are referring to. Per the Wigwam yesterday at noon there was 9" and they are pulling the big houses out.....

That info is direct from a retired dude living at French Narrows (about 12 miles south of Kenora) There might be a little more current there compared to the south end of the lake.
