Was wondering if a Musky ever hit your Walleye bait and were forced to pull em up?

IceJaws,
We hook them two or three times a year crappie fishing. With 2 lb test line they generally just swim around for a while and when they get tired they just swim off :). Fun while it lasts, though.

The son af a friend caught a 41 lb Musky through the ice on 6 lb mono. His dad ran around to all the ice shacks looking for a gaff. His son watched that fish swimming around for an hour before his dad came back with a gaff.

I just got back from 3 days fishing walleyes in the Brainerd area. I had a muskie sit under a shallow water tip-up for about an hour. It cost me 5 large shiners and 5 Gammy hooks! I had it to the hole once, but could not get it's head turned. It was the same hole I picked up a 27" eye the night before, so I didn't want to give up on it.
