I would venture to guess all the pros ice fish. However, most are putting in time trying to earn a living to go soft water fishing so they are not on the ice as much. All the pros I know have been out a few times already. Most have done ice photo shoots for next years articles.

we all ice fish, or dream of it . the truth is after turning pro, work is more important than before turning pro. It is really painful to here about all the good bites we are missing. I envy all the guys that get to go as much as they want. The bottom line is gas is more than two dollars a gallon. If I remember right ,I paid three dollars a gallon at green bay. time to pay the piper.

If you do a little checking most do ice fish. This time of year is very busy for them going to sporting show all over the country supporting their sponsors. But am sure they get out every chance they can. Skeeter

Use the WALLEYE CENTRAL BUSINESS DIRECTORY "Skeeters Stuff" under marine supplies (boat cleaning supplies), it really does work.

They do ice fish. Just not until after christmas. We need to be good little boys and girls right now. Isn't that how you get new rods and stuff?? I know my wife sure isn't buying me all this neat stuff, so it must be from Santa.

While not all of the "pros" are the same some of them do not really fish for fun. They are competition junkies and tournament fishing is another form of competition.

Another spin, Most of the "PROS" (as you term it) that I know actually Ice fish alot however this time of the year they are able to relax and enjoy it. You just don't hear about the when, where, how, etc. because it isn't nor shoudn't be public knowledge every time these guys get out to enjoy the great outdoors.

It's because of me. I shamed them into sticking with the easy softwater fishing. LOL.
