I am having a tough time finding availability at the resorts that were recommended to me in a previous post. Does anyone have any first hand experience with the following resorts for ice fishing. If so, would you recommend them:
Riverview Resort
Zippel Bay
Wheelers Point
Borderview Lodge

Thanks,

Mike

Just got back from Zippel Bay. A-1 facilities and employees. They actually checked on us at least 3 times a day to give us fishing reports and offered to move us if we wished. Luckily we were on fish and had a great week. Definetly one of the better resorts in the area.

Have stayed at Borderview - Very nice place and very nice people.
I would also check out Ballards. That is a really nice place too.
Good luck fishing!

Check out Arnesen's Rocky Point Lodge. Been going there for 30 years, best on the lake.

I agree with jb on Ballard's, class operation, helpful staff, first rate accomodations and food.

Bayview Lodge is by far the best on there...I have been going there for years.

I would take a look at Cyrus Resort near Baudette.
The accomadations are very nice and clean. They have some the best kept fish houses out there. They also have great meal plans to go with the lodging.
Please use my name when you call them I'm sure they will be able to help you out and the experience will be a good one.

Cyrus Resort's phone number is ; 1-800-932-2924

Web site is ; www.cyrusresort.com

I've been to Zipple and Arnesons and would highly recomend either of them. I prefer Zipple just for the fact that I prefer to drive out to the house. That way I can go back for lunch or any other reason.

I have been doin Zipple for years. Love it. They really know how to run a resort and they work hard at it.

A++ for them. wouldnt really care to go to too many other places. (nothing against the other places, but zipple is really good :-) )
