Was wondering how many lures / jigs you tote along on the ice?

When in search of walleyes I probably only bring 20-25 with me. When after perch I usually have (guessing) about 250-300. Obviously I don't use them all in a day but I want to make sure that I have what they want.

50-60 total. My box is pretty small, fits right in the tray of my fish trap. I can't see needing any more than what's in that box. Ice buster bobbers to swedish pimples. It pretty well covers panfish to pike. When I start to get low on a certain lure I'll replenish it, but I can't recall the last time I needed more ice lures, they seem to last.

I carry about 10 ice jigs and the ones tied on the lines. What I noticed in the last 4 out of 5 times out on the slab was that I never had to change lures or retie or need the spares. The latest two times out I limited out on perch. I love those perch. I would take walleye but was not hunting them. My case is more like someone on a vacation.

Carry around 3-4 dozen, but usually use the same 2 or 3 baits. Of those 2-3, blades, swimming minnows, (jigging raps/nilsmaster), and Rattle traps, blades nearly always get the nod. However, when hole hopping community areas, those Rattle Traps make an excellent search lure, so I have one rigged and ready to go. They may not draw the strikes that blades do, but the RT's bring in a lot of sniffers which indicates fish in the area.
