StrikeMaster fuel leak

I have a 2hp StrikeMaster LazerMag auger that leaks fuel.

The carb looks fine and the mounting screws are snug.

If I get a replacement carb and tank kit should that fix my leak? I cannot see exactly where it is comming from.

I had the same problem, same auger. I replaced the carburetor and it's been fine. The auger was about 4 years old when the problem occurred and it's been two years since I replaced the carburetor. I think the carburetor was about $50.00. Much cheaper than a new auger. The auger gets used from December to March 2-3 times per week so I'm still satisfied with the Strikemaster.

I could not find a replacement Tillotson carb.

I ordered a carb kit, O ring seal to the tank and gasket to the engine block. If that does not do it I will get a new tank and fuel line. My leaking auger is a real pain in the keister.
