Can anybody out there tell me if they are familiar with a crankbait called the shadling. I have a few but would like to get more. Don't remember the company that made them or if they are still made or not. They have a nice tight wobble and have produced fish for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not 100% sure, but I think they were made by Lindy/Little Joe. These were the crankbaits that Babe Winkleman used to push all the time. Haven't seen them new in store for a while (not saying that they're still not made)but see them at swap meets now and then. Hope this helps

Yes I think they were made by Lindy Little Joe also and I have 4 different colors and have had good luck on the river Pool 4 pulling them right along side shad raps and they out produced the raps on that day.
I also have the very large size about 8" long I purchased them for a song at woods and waters in B ville and they are very deep divers and large wobble be good on the pigs in the fall in deep water.

Lindy Little Joe still produces these in several colors and two
sizes. I just ordered 8 of my favorite color about a week ago
over the phone. Their website shows the colors and prices.

Ssshhhhhhh. This has been one of my secret lures for a long time. The small one seems to work way better than the others for some reason. I've caught just about every thing that swims on that lure at one time or another.
It trolls great, but doesn't cast all that well. Works very well slow. Adding some suspend-dots to the underside helps the casting quite a bit, and doesn't seem to hurt the action.
There was a period where they weren't available a couple of years ago, and I bought like 20 of 'em. Used to be able to get the unpainted bodies from Cabelas, but no more.
