Thanks for the info. Gotta agree with their assesment of this fall. Unbelievably warm. I guess time will tell with their predictions (hope they're wrong).
We live close enough to lower Lake Michigan to be affected by those warmer (El Nina?) winters. Not much ice but alot of lake effect snow makes things tough. You get a cold snap, the lakes get a couple inches of ice. Then you get 8 inches of lake effect snow on top & ruins it. Oh well. There's always an open river somewhere. I'm not going to worry about what might happen.
Hate to see another open winter for the big lakes, though, water levels are just starting to come back abit.
