Cabela's 360HT Rod Holders

Purchased a new (used) boat last fall. The boat came with a couple of Cabela's plastic rod holders. I plan on trolling Western Erie this year with inline boards and also dipsy's with cranks.

Hate to spend the money to replace them with metal holders but on the other hand I don't want to lose my rods and then replace the holders and the rod/reels.

Any thoughts?

Just remember you get what you pay for. If you have good rods and reels and are thinking about the holders breaking then you have to look no further.
