Can someone tell me what knot I need to use to tie lead core to monofilament line. I've never used lead core before so I dont have a clue on tying it. I checked on In-Fisherman website at knot-tying but didnt find what I was looking for. Maybe there is a website? Thanks in advance.

Here ya go. The Wilis knot is a great knot. It will glide through the eyes on your rod as well as the guide on your level wind. Scroll down after clicking on this link to find the willis knot. Theres a great expanation as well as photo illustrations...Good luck.

I dont use any leadcore, but a loop-to-loop connection with a perfection loop on each end is ideal for connecting mono to fluorocarbon. Same knot I use to tie my fly fishing leaders...

I use a uni to uni knot. Cant get the wills know figured out. Cant keep the line stiff enough to get into the leadcore sheath
