I currently own a 2060 DS, 225 Opti, 9.9 kicker. I am running a Tempest 23P prop. I am not happy with the Acceleration-Hole Shot when I have 4 adults in the boat.

Dealers in our area are not intersted in trying before buying. I want to re-prop but I want to make sure I buy the right one. I am looking for input from owners of the same boat. What prop are you set up with?

4 adults will slow any boat down regardless of motor and prop, I would try a 21P Rev 4 or a 21 Hi 5, I have a 21 fter with a 250 pro xs, I ran both of these props and they will get you up and out of the hole much better than the tempest I ran that prop too, fast but it didn't have any lift and it was doggy out of the hole and throughout the range.

Try a 21 Rev 4

I actually run an 05 2060 with a 225 opti a 23 inch high five will get you up and going like a cannon shot and will run between 58 - 62 mph gps at 5750 rpms, a 25 high five will run a bit slower, a 24 inch trophy plus (small hub with the ring) will run a bit slower out of the hole but 1-2 mph faster top end with the same weight in the boat as the high five. this boat does not like a tempest or a large hub trophy I have a CMC jackplate and a tempest runs only at very ow transon setting with this boat and poorly at that. I have not run a rev 4 on this boat.

Thank you all for the information. I am not so concerned with going 60 mph. I want to make sure I have good control and acceleration when I get caught on the lake by unexpected winds.

It looks like my 2 best options would be 21p rev 4 or 23p high five. If anyone else has an opinion I am open to other suggestions.

I run a 23p Hi 5 on my 2060 with 225 Opti. You might lose a little top end but hole shot and handling are great.
