Can anyone tell me if they have experienced a positive (any type) response from Lowrance online support. I sent an email 3 weeks ago requesting software version 1.6 so I can install it on my LCX-25C. (I also have the problem with loosing the bottom depth reading). I have replaced the transducer and installed the 2.1 software version but it has not fixed my problem. I figured I would email their product support and request version 1.6 based on prior success I read on this site plus I would not tie up their support line. But I have not heard back from them after 2 attempts. What is going on with this company??? I guess I have to call and be put on hold for a half hour so I can talk to a live body.

I e-mailed them on Wednesday and got a response Thursday am. E-mailed again Thursday and got an immediate response. I think Lowrance responded timely enough and addressed my questions.

Suggest sending another one.

Call Lowrance, yes you will have to wait, ask for Craig Campbell in software, your 1.6 software will be in your email within minutes, and for me it worked! Lowrance has been very good to me! I go back to the green box! so you know my hair is gray! only problem with them is getting ahold of them.

I tried the email route a few months ago.
I did get a response but it took 3 weeks.

How do you install the older 1.6? I know when you do an update you have to check yes or no to have it check for newer update. Do you just check no in that spot.

My buddy is haveing troubles with his 37. He exchanged it once still same thing. I just updated to 2.3 to see if that will help. I have 520 in my boat that works just fine, Will have to try his in my boat this weekend.

Either way works fine,, one line e-mail support takes about 1-2 days... if I need it fast, I call in ready to be on hold just a bit and they take care of the issue quickly.

Do i need to delete 2.1 software first before downloading 1.6? If so how would i do that?
