Can anyone tell me how fast a 175 Verado would push a 1900 Pro-V?
Thanks

I am running a 2008 1800 prov with a 175 verado. Perfect conditions I will pull 52 mph. Hole shot is awesome!!!! I have a 19p ss tempess prop. I am running 6200 rpm wot.

My old 1900 Pro-V IFS w/175 Opti will do 51-52 @ 5400rpm with a 21P Tempest Plus. I'd expect that you should get at least that.

This thread saved me a bunch of money. I was thinking of getting a 1900 ProV with a 225, thinking I would get a lot better performance than my present boat. I guess not.

I'm trying to figure out how there can be that much difference between the 1900 with a 200, and the 1900 with a 225 that I've been around too.
Duane's buddy either doesn't care about top speed, or needs to do some work on his setup.

the reason I asked the question in the first place is there is a 1900 pro-v for sale in MN with a 175 Verado and I was thinking that a 175 was weak for a boat that had a max 225. So I gather the 225 vs the 175 isn't going to make that much of a difference and if so any thoughts on the best prop for the set up?

I have a friend in Bismarck w/ a 225 pro xs on a 19'IFS pro V . I have been in it running 58-59mph GPS. It was in the spring so the cooler water probably helped a couple MPH but very fast for a loaded tournament rig! I know he was running a Tempest 19 or 21 pitch. Last I knew it was for sale here on W/C. I don't know if it's sold or the add ran out. If you are interested I can get you his phone#. It's a 2008 model loaded.
