This is about the coolest thing I have seen in years...for trailers.

I bet they dont give that away with boat!! Looks cool though.

Had a clamshell style lid on my snowmobile (for you southern guys like Mexico, tracked vehicle with ski's and goes on the snow) trailer worked awsome

I'm surprised it's been this long before that was posted. It'll be interesting to read the feedback on this idea.

I heard rumors of pricing and to be honest I was surprised at the relative increase vs. a normal RangerTrail. Maybe someone out there has a rough idea from a dealer, I'm not willing to comment because there was no book involved when I was quoted...my assumption was double and I was waaaay off. ;)

Just wait 'til you go back to get your trailer and some guy is sleeping in the shade!

HRG, you are on to something, put a screen enclosure and you have a camper. Yes dear it is a camper, see it has screens and it floats to!!

Nice
I like the ideal

So do they cut the top for the Front trolling motor?
I can't see a front trolling motor on the boats in the Pic's

That thing is nuts!!!, Great for guys who don't have a garage. I wonder if you can get them on Fisherman series rigs. Probably get better gas milage too.

Can this be locked, if so would be a great theft deterrent. I like this.

I'm glad that you posted these pictures. If I would've seen that going down the highway I would've caused an accident trying to figure out what it was!

This is really a neat idea, but I can't help but remember all the times I've launched my boat by myself and crawled from the tongue into the bow. Looks a bit iffy with this set-up. Otherwise, Coool! Mike R.

Good point Mike, I also launch a lot by myself so I wonder how that would work...

Can this be purchased as an aftermarket item? Who is the supplier? Approx cost?

This was deisgned and built at Ranger...rumor has it they will not be available until January or later.

Your local Ranger dealer or www.rangerboats.com (http://www.rangerboats.com) ask for trailer customer service.

Too bad it won't work with a full windshield. :(

It looks pretty sharp.

Boy that must be like buying a second boat with out the motor if it is glass polyflake! I bet that will be very expensive, but what an idea.

Again, I heard it is not that costly in addition to a boat package. If someone has a dealer willing to give a ballpark on price, let us know...

Very good idea, sure makes a pretty boat look ugly.

We Ranger owners have always felt bad trailering the best looking boats down the highway, making others feel bad and envious. So in response to this, the engineers in Flippin have come up with this stealth cover for our boats. That way, we don't need to unveil our crafts until we get to the launch. It keeps us from feeling so badly, allows us to sleep better at night, and undoubtedly makes non-Ranger owners much happier during their travels. LOL.
