my friend used it for a season. i guess there was no difference to be noticed. however, i could use a free spool to tie snells and spinners with!
i think it is an extra heavy mono. the line feels a lot less limp than say....triline XL.
just my thoughts though. i am no expert.

I haven't used it (I use fireline). My parents started using Spiderline Super Mono XXX last year and really like it. The XXX was new last year, probably replacing the stuff without the XXX.
Don't know if that info helps you or not.

My father used some spiderline last year and swears by it I still use mono but will give youre line a try and then I'll put my comments about it on WC.Lifetime member nafc 15 years sw mn fishing club three years iwtt still dont know how to catch fish{walleyes}.
