I am looking for screen protectors for my electronics. In the past I was able to buy a thin clear anti-glare protector sheets for my pda. I was wondering if anyone has seen a similar product for boat electronics?
Actually the best product would be something in a bulk roll so you could cut to fit any LCR screen.
Any thoughts?
Thanks for any info!

I put these on my LCX15mt and EagleStrike2000c for 2 years now and happy with it.

I found a few dealers on ebay and bought one for my H20-C. Since its a portable unit and I drag it from the boat to the truck I figured a little extra protection couldn't hurt. After 3 months has been holding up really well and no signs of peeling or bubbling.

Go to walmart back in the sewing section and they have all kinds of the thin clear plastic sheets, you can pick it up by the yard and cut it to whatever size you would like. Wet it lightly and put it in place, use a sharp edge like a credit card to force the bubbles out and let it dry. Works lik a charm for pennies.

I too am please with the screen film you can get from e-bay. I use them on 2 LMX25. They have held up fine for over a year. Don't forget to cover your screen if it will be exposed to the sun for long periods if the boat is on the lift or trailer and it's uncovered.

I also have had a great bit of luck on the Ebay pieces. They are a pain to apply. But the efforts is well worth it to keep from wiping the screen down constantly in tough conditions.
