anyone have an opinion on this reel,okuma epix 2500

I bought 2 of them last spring, and used them all summer. I really like them, they are smooth, have a great drag, and they have 10 ballbearings.......all for under $60.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Bought one in July last year and used it as my primary reel for everything from bass to pike. Bought the Epix 20 and thought it was great until the handle broke for the second time. The first time I chalked up to an anomile, but the second time I realized they use cheap metal. All the functions our comparable with a Sustain or Stradic, but they save money on materials. They need to improve the quality a littel more before I would buy another.
The second handle break caused me to fix it myself with a tiny pin to permanently fix the handle and I am still using it.
