I have a LCX 27 with a 3000GPS when I first hooked it up the GPS worked. A week later the GPS did not respond. I went on vacation the next day and it worked all week up til the last day it stopped. I tried it again today and it still isn't responding. I don't get it how can it work one day and not respond the next?

That's exactlly what happens to my wife!

I would say you have an intermittent power connection to your GPS Puck, like a lose connection or poor ground, or your GPS puck is mounted too close to your X-27 (should be at least 3 feet away)and is causing interference.
