I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could purchase a lake chip for my global map 2000 and approximently how much do they cost now. I just bought one that was used, any info will help! Thanks

Howdy,
I would imagine Lowrance would still have some. Another source would be here. Try the swap board. Another place would be Ebay. I bought one of my cartridges there. I have had my 2000 for 4 years now & don't have any intentions to replace it yet.

Reeds Sporting Goods here in Walker has C chips for the Global 2000, prices vary between $40 or so to $150 depending on lake. I have Lake of the Woods on chips $100 a piece, I believe it takes 2 for the lake

http://www.lei-extras.com/store/default.asp if you go to this site then use the Lowrance accessories for Globalmap 2000. Then scroll down to The IMS smartmap, then click on the highlighted portion and it will give you a map and product numbers for all modules. Good luck with your 2000 mine works great
