Has anyone seen the 197? The 208 is just a little too big for me and the 186 too small. Same Questions on the 197.

I don't own either, but test drove both of them a couple weeks ago on Devils Lake. The 208 was running a 300 Verado, the 197 also had a Verado, I believe a 250. Both handles the chop very well, were dry and fast. The 208 did feel larger than the 197, rks has a good point.

Hard to respond too much to generalized questions. The boats impressed me given they are first year boats. The engineer at Lund is certainly showing his experience over the years with aluminum boats has benefited this models - especially in hull design. I really did not come away feeling there was any weakness. Well, OK, there is one weakness. They are both out of my price range.

Burr, I'm looking at a 208 but like you said 1st year boats ! I wasn't impressed with the trailer fenders no place to stand ,But really what i was looking for was someone who had one? and it Dosen't look like anyone out there has one or is willing to share an opinion yet ,Maybe I'll wait to see more of them out there ....Yes their price is a little on the high end ...THANKS

They are made by Titon I'm 99% sure. So some Titon boat owners feedback should be helpfull. I know they are engineered differently but still made in Titon plant.

If you mean Lund uses the Triton factory to build their boats, yes that is true, but that is the only connection with Triton. The Glass Lund is all Lund design and Lund had the hull molds made to their specifications by a moldmaker in Michigan. Triton owners can't give any input on how the Lunds ride and perform.

By saying the above you are correct. But actually, Lund glass boats are being made in the same plant, by the same highly trained boat builders, leveraging the same manufacturing processes and cross functional resources that are used in making Triton glass boat. I think there would be major connections between these two different glass boats; these would include fit & finish and overall quality. Each brand is very desirable and offers owners unique choices, but they do share the same parent company and utilize the same manufacturing personnel and resources.
