Howdy,
Yes things are a wee bit slow, from time to time, as of late. But we are switching servers again, and it may have to do with that. I will contact our fearless leader/hero type, Scott, and we'll keep ya posted.
Have fun............R

I can remember when the pages would load in a nano second but that's was way back, when WC was lucky to have 3 new posts a day. LMAO

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to say THANKS to all our users and let you know how very grateful we are that you continue to visit and revist Walleye Central.
Because of your dedication to this great site Walleye Central set a new record by receiving over 9 MILLION HITS in February!!!!! The month of January was over 8 MILLION HITS!!
Therefore, it may take longer to download the pages due to the extreme amount of usage to our site. FYI: The highest usage is from 11 am to 3 PM CST when you all are at work?!?! Just don't get caught!
Thanks again from all of us at Walleye Central!

We Met Scott Golden yesterday at the Walleye intitute here in Chicago. He mentioned this site gets 8,500,000 hits a month. Yes, thats eight and a half million. Icredible when you think about it. So, any web site with that volume is going to slow down at times.
PS- Scott had us laughing so hard, our sides started to hurt! If you get a chance, ask him sometime about the two kinds of walleyes...

Howdy Reels,
Can you imagine the fun we have with Scott at all the company meetings and tournies, etc??
Did he tell ya the one about how he is fishing for a fish with a brain this big (Scott holds up one hand with index finger and thumb about an inch or so apart) and so far it is smarter than him???
Glad you enjoyed yourself.
Have fun........R

No, But he did do an imitation of a walleye while hiding behind the screen and a spinner going by... trying to decide if it was a color he wanted to eat!
Too funny!
