I have been looking hard at going back from a bass boat to a multi species boat. I had it narrowed down to Lund ProV and Ranger, but a local dealer has an awesome deal on a 2008 205X Triton, about 10K+ less than the other two. I know it's not a Lund or Ranger but how is this boat, quality, ride, and performance wise. I currently have a triton bass boat and am/was happy with it. I fish mostly bass and walleye so quality, ride, and fishability are the most important for me. If anyone has one I would like to know how you like it and the pro's/con's of it.

Sorry, it's a Triton 202 not 205

Richard shoot me an e-mail at ezeestep@yahoo.com along with your phone# and I will give you some input on the 202. I have a 2008 202 with a 250 pro xs and love it. This is my 3rd Triton ( 2001 189, 2005 198 and 2008 202). You wont be sorry if you buy this boat. It is just awesome. I have fished out of them all and there are a lot of great boats out there, I personally just like the Triton better.

I agree whole heartily with stepman(missed ya on the circuit this year) I got a triton215x and I absolutely love the boat. I've been in must of the other major boat brands and the tritons ride is far better than the competition. You will not be sorry with the purchase of a triton. If you live in central WI check out American Marine in Shawno, great people to deal with.

The website says the 202 is rated up to 225. You are running a 250? Was the rating adjusted?

They are nice boat, not quite the big water boat of a 215.

Yes the 08 202's are rated for a 250. They have not changed the web site.
