I too saw the very good deal on this unit at Cabelas. I've been looking for a new one for a couple months and this is by far the best price for a unit that has sonar/GPS that is capable of upgrading/adding maps.

My question, will I be able to convert this unit to a portable unit. I go to Canada and would like to add that map. We fly in so obviously don't take our own boats. I have an old Humminbird WideOne. By the looks of things I "should" be able to use that case and power supply with the new unit???

Am I way off base with that?
