Looking for a new prop for my 250 Verado on a Yarcraft 209. I have a Tempest Plus 21 pitch 3 blade. Just isn't cutting it for me, can't get the speed that I should, also doesn't seem to plane out that fast. I can get 54 mph but should be able to get 59 mph. Another guy has the same boat and has a different prop and I believe it went to a 4 blade but said he is pusing his rpm.

What are you running for rpms?

I bet a REV 4 would work well

What rpms are you running? How high are you running your motor? I used to have a 200 evinrude with a 24 pitch 4 blade that on my Alumacraft Trophy 200 had a great hole shot and in perfect conditions could get that boat up to 64mph, GPS. I totaled the Alumacraft May 30th and just purchased a 2009 Yarcraft 209 yesterday but have to put the 200 on the back of the Yarcraft. I am hoping to get 50 to 55 mph out of the 200. You may want to call Dean at Yarcraft and talk to him. With all of the boats that they have in the field he may be able to help you out as far as type, pitch, and motor height.
