How could ranger redo their 620T and not put in sunken recess for the front mount trolling motor foot controll. Is triton the only 20ft tiller with this option, its very hard to tell from their website pics.

Well you can always add it, what's the big deal the install is pretty easy from what I've seen on other boats.... Personally I wouldn't want it, I think it's nice they give you the choice.

Is it easy to install a sunken recess for the foot controll of a bow mount trolling motor in a fiber glass floor. Say a 620T. The reason being I'm a multi species angler and I have a minor upper back issue, but it becomes major after a full day flipping for bass. A sunken foot controll helps me out alot.

I'm pretty sure it's an option you have to ask for. I don't believe it's a standard option, so it wouldn't show in the pics on their site.

Have you checked with a dealer or called Ranger direct to find out if they do that for the 620T too?

I suppose it all depends on what you call easy, but I'll bet your dealer can do it too, I'd find it hard to believe Ranger wouldn't do it if you asked. Actually if you Looked around on either a bass forum, or google, you can find a bunch of pics from prople doing their own installs. Honestly I think just about anyone could physically do it, though In my case and I'm sure in others, it's aweful hard to take that leap of faith and start cutting large holes in the deck of you Brand new ( and expensive) ride. Unless you have a good buddy you trust, (it's always easier to cut holes in something you don't own LOL! ) I'd probably let the dealer or Ranger do it, Really it sounds like a big deal, but it isn't, google around you'll see lots of folks have done it themselves. Taking a quick peak at the Layout on the Ranger home page, looks like there is more than enough space to do it. Talk to a/your dealer, I'll bet you won't see it's a big issue to add one. I know I've seen plenty of people with back issues that bless the recessed pedal mounts, good luck!
