I have a Crestliner boat and cannot seem to keep the fish alive in this livewell. My last Crestliner had an aeration "tube" on it and the fish did not seem to die.

What is the best livewell aeration system to use? Is tehre something else to do? I typically leave my livewell run constantly while fishing. I have thought about ice and have used ice but it is not that readily available.

I have a Crestliner 1850 Sportfish. And the live well works fine at keep fish alive.
This year I installed a live well timer. Works great.

If the fish are stressed or injured they may not make it.

And do you plan on releasing the fish or keeping them alive long enough to eat.
I only keep "Food" in my live well. :)

I picked up on of these for my 1825 Pro Guide. The last trip out the heat was 101 and the water was 87 degrees. The 16 fish in the back livewell did great with it. Have only used it 2 times so far. Hope to get it a workout if they get my heart worked out tomorrow morning.

I have a 1850 Tyee and the only time ive had problems is on Lake Erie when you have nothing but hogs in the well, the recirc pump doesn't help much either....such problems LOL I get them on ice when I have that many big ones...
