this is the unit I decided to buy, cheapest I seen is 799 postage included,anyone know where it might be a tad cheaper ?? thanks ps the Garmin 498 went to the garbage man this morning, could not get through to Garmin support by e-mail or phone so off to the dump it went.

I haven't seen them any cheaper. Sometimes Vexilar will have reconditioned units on their web page, but since the Edge 3 is somewhat new, I haven't seen any listed. You might try calling Vexilar to see if they have any. Once in awhile, there has been Edge 3 listed in the classifieds section on other fishing web sites. Most people hang on to them because they are such great units.
