I can turn the handle but the motor doesn't turn, I can grab the top (yellow direction indicator) and turn that and it turns the motor. I took my vantage apart and see where the two gears don't match up anymore. dug a little further and seen where a pin goes through one gear and through the shaft. I THINK THIS MAY BE THE PROBLEM.
So has anyone had this problem and if so was the pin sheered and replacing a pin fix the problem... Next where do I get a pin... minnkota dealer?
hope I described this alright.
Sounds like the infamous shear pin.
Pick one up at any MinnKota dealer and your problem should be solved. While you're at it, pick up the bracket that holds the Vantage straight during transport and prevents the pin from getting sheared.

Where do you find this bracket to keep it straight for travel?
I'm not sure where to look online, and I have no idea where you are.
Most good fishing stores around here that carry MinnKota products carry them, but I think they're made by a local company in Alberta.
I have seen them talked about in the US, so I'm sure there's someone down there that makes them. There's not much too them, just an aluminum bracket that bolts to the motor housing with a half moon of aluminum that goes over the motor to prevent it from turning.
