Just a quick question regarding a Lowrance Global Map 6500c. I recently picked up a used one, and noticed when I turned it on, the cursor indicating my position on the map had a circle around it with 0,90,180,and 270 in the proper postions on the circle. It also has a straight line extending from the tip of the arrow cursor in the direction it is facing. Can anyone tell me how, if possible, to turn this off so I can just see the arrow cursor as it is on my other units? I can't find any information in the manual relating to this display. Hope this makes sense, and thanks to anyone with any ideas.

Press MENU once. Go down to Map Data and press ENT. Go down to the Trackline Extension box and press ENT when Length is highlighted. Select Off and press ENT. Press ESC to get back to main screen and it will be gone.
