Flourocarbon line questions-REW & Others

I tied up a number of 9 foot leaders for mille lacs using flourocarbon line. I tied up both bare hook rigs and spinner rigs. I plan on using them on the mud flats but now I am not so sure it was a good idea based on what I read in the current In-Fisherman mag. They say that because flourocarbon line is heavier than regular mono it sinks faster and I am wondering how I will it keep it out of the mud even though the sinker is raised off the flat. What do you think??

Try it out and if you find that the hooks are getting lodged in the mud, then add a small in-line float and a bead in front of the spinner. This should raise the line off the bottom.

Bottom bouncers are another way to keep the rig off the lake floor also.
