I am running 1895 Yar-Craft storm with a 225 Yamaha Vmax. would the Tempest be the Fastest prop for that boat or are there other ones that I am missing.
I am currently running a 21 pitch Tempest Plus and can 57mph on Gps with it. I would like to hit 60 without having to get a set back or jack plate.

What kind of RPMs are you getting w/ a 21? I would have guessed a 23 Tempest on that setup...

I am needing a bigger pitch. that is part of the prob i am having. local dealler told me recamended RPMs are around 5500-5600and with the 21 pitch Tempest I am turning 5750-5800 on the cooler mornings or any time the motor is sucking in cool air I can get 5900. motor rev limits out a 6000.
Thanks

It sounds like you need to fine tune what you have possibly, try a prop shop like DAH or Marks Prop. They can tweak it with nice results.

DAH is in Wisc, do a search for DAH on WC to do a little background check, then call John at DAH and get ready for a lesson on props.
