I have a Garmin 182C mapping unit, and currently am using the Bluechart mapping chip here in Michigan for both the inland and great lakes, and would like to know if the Lakemaster chip will work with Garmin products. I was told that it would, but on the package that the chip came in, it says that the chip is compatible with Lowrance/Eagle units. Can anyone help me with this question? Thankyou.

Garmin does produce chips and cd's for their units using LakeMaster data. They updated their chips this past April. However, they did not choose to use LakeMaster's Great Lakes data, so you'll only find inland lakes on them.
