It's like some sort of demon spawn or something! I feel like I am mixing green peppers, chocolate, and orange juice...oh that was a bad dream.

Does anyone have the combination of MSN Explorer with Windows XP and Windows Messenger?

Everytime I go online I get an error message from Windows Messenger stating that it does not recognize my automatic passport sign in name or password. I know it is a Windows Messenger problem because I get auto passport sign up with other programs that work fine. I also know that WM accepts my password because it will let me enter it manually and the error message goes away. Problem is that it makes me do this no matter what I am doing online, doesnt matter if I am not using WM.

I have tried it all. I have been on the phone with MSN support so much they want to put me on the payroll. I even found a way to eliminate the program from my computer...but it didn't work because MSN would not give me internet access until I repaired it back to my system so I did and the problem persists.

I feel like MSN has got me by the bells. You can bet that once my freebie trial period is over with MSN my business will be headed down the road. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem, changing my password seemed to fix it. My entire family is unhappy with MSN. But for now it's MSN or nothing...
This is what kept popping up on my puter. "Access denied because user name and/or password is invalid on the domain" Remove your old MSN files and reload off of the disc. Just like starting up the first time, except you have to enter existing account. Then change your password. Hope this helps....and good luck :)

Why would I ever doubt that it would take WC to fix my computer problems?

I had changed the passport password several times and even my computer log on password but never did I try the MSN internet password. That did it and now I am automatically signed into Messenger without errors popping up all over the place...Yee Haa!

Thanks Dutchman...I owe you big!

And Uncle Billy Gates wants to take the programs all off of your computer and put them on his servers. That way you can use any program you want IF you are part of his network. Just how reliable will his network be?
