When and where is everyone going for their first walleye outting this year, or in some cases where did you go? since we know what underwear some of us will likely wear..and what new equip or tech are you most looking forward to using/trying, for me its port clinton near end of march or early april and using power pro and box of reef runners I bought with all the catchy colors, also implementing advise I got regarding using my x85 better and gps.thanks everyone...

Been on the Mississippi here in Mn several times this year catching Eyes and Sauger. Last Saturday it was 50 degrees, this morning it's minus 3, with a 25 below wind chill....burrrr

On the x-85, I'd suggest playing around with the Zoom and Power. Bump the power up till your screen is black and then down just till it clears up. Zoom in on the bottom half of the scren.

I consider anyone from the state of Ohio lucky , saugeye are stocked in almost every lake . I have caught close to two hundred this winter and over one hundred since the first of the year . Biggest so far is 22 1\2 inches . I will also be at Port Clinton the last week in March and every weekend in April trolling reefrunners . It is a great time to be alive if you like to fish for walleye ,sauger or saugeye thanks to the DNR of Ohio .

W. Lake erie or detroit river in sometime in March, waiting til there is less likelihood for snow as it is hassle getting boat in garage as it is kinda wedged into one side bow first-pushed in. looking forward to using new rod holder setup on boat, new better suspension seats (if that is the term) and by all means the new 3 part extension net.
