Team number 18 has opted out of today's competition due to mechanical troubles, so the MWC is short one boat today.

Conditions this morning are:

Waves are 1-3 feet. Winds will diminish to 5-15mph and the wave heights will follow suit and lessen to 0-2 foot later today.

With the top 5 teams all fishing the same area, it's going to be a close race come weigh in time today. Join us this afternoon as we watch to see who will reign victorious and capture the winner's trophy by days end.

Will the team of Koph and Miller take home the title of the Eastern Division's "Team of the Year"? We'll find that out this afternoon too!

The boats are expected back in today at 4PM. The weigh in will begin within minutes there after.

Rebs ~ I have heard that most of the teams are fishing the Barcelona area, but I don't know about the top 5...

I talked with some of the guys after the weigh in and most of the big eyes were caught fishing west of Barcelona
