My Eagle Intellamap turned on by itself the other day. Then when I used it later it would beep and the back light would change.Anyone know what the problem might be ?

when unit is off try holding zoom in button zoom out button power button and exit button(top two buttons and bottom two buttons) in all at the same time until the unit boots up about 10 seconds. and release, this will probably undo presets, and might loose saved info but has seemed to fix glitches in these graphs. it is a reset and has worked in the past for some...:banghead:

It's done, send it in to Lowrance. I had the very same issue with an Intellimap 500C a couple of years ago. They sent me a new one, as it was still under warranty. The new one came with a decal saying not to use or store the unit in high ambient temperatures and to remove the main power when not being used for long periods of time.
