Good Day. I have noticed several Lund pro boats and some others with a
cover that goes almost right down to the trailer. Is this a new option
from Lund or are they custom made covers? Thanks

This could be one of two things - The owner could have had a custom cover made or Lund does offer serval boats with bungie covers that are designed to hook onto the splash rail of a aluminum lund. I believe the 2025 prov has this option. You will need to install the metal hooks onto your splash rail with pop rivets.

I think the "bungie style" cover was only on the 1 of 59 2025 Pro V LTD.

the special lund cover that you might have seen has a custom lund logo on the side...

it straps to the splash rail on the boat, and used to be only available on pro-staff boats...

the cover was first intodruced into lund production boats with all 59 (okay... okay... maybe they actually made less than 59 of these boats) project 59 boats. they were 2025 pro-v's produced for the 59th anniversay of lund boats.

YOu can order a cover like this for a 2025 pro-v IFS/SE, and maybe other models as well. They are custom made by a company called Dufort Industries in Manitoba (http://www.dufort.mb.ca/)

They should be able to make one for you (definiteyl for your 2025 IFS/SE, and maybe for other models), although you'll have to see your dealer about getting rivets put onto the splash rail hooks.
