I am looking at a 1775 2003 Lund Pro V with a 2007 evinrude E-Tech versus an 1800 2004 Lund Pro V with a 2004 evinrude E-Tech. How much smaller is the 1775 than the 1800 and would there be much of a top speed difference between the 2? I couldn't find any information on the 1775. Is that as big a motor as you can put on the 1775? Any help would be appreciated.

The 2003 1775 pro v is 17 ft 2 inch long and 92 inch beam, rated at 80 hp for a tiller or 150 hp console.
The 1775 weighs in at 1300 or 1355 lbs, with tiller being the lighter.
The 2004 1800 is 18 ft 4 inches long and 93 inch beam, rated for 175 hp or 90 hp tiller, and weighs 1560-1600 lbs..
These figures are from the 2003/2004 brochures.

I had the 1775 Pro V single console, model 2001 with a 125 merc and now have the 1800 Pro-V IFS (full windshield) 2005 with Yamaha F150.

There are a few changes that I have upgrading from the IPS to the IPS II and from single console to full windshield.

To me, the 14 inches longer and the 1" wider from IPS to IPS2 makes a HUGE difference. Top end on the 1775 for me was 43MPH and I hit around 47MPH in the 1800. I think all of the factors listed above improve the comfort of the ride, dryness etc...I'd go with the 1800 every day of the week if money wasn't a huge factor.

Good luck, both are good boats!
