I am currently looking at replacing my kicker engine bracket. I have a Remote-troll bracket and the motor has gone out and the cables are almost shot.

What are the better brackets to use? I have a Yamaha T8. I have noticed that Panther has some healthy brackets. How does the lift part of the panther brackets work? Can you lift the engine out of the water without tilting the engine?
