still nottin happening at the mouth...went to doughnut last few days w/o success....heard of one or two kings caught off no. 4 but not much happening there either...steve

i believe that we live next to the dead sea vetspet!. bussman has gone to canada and loumax and i are going to lake erie next tuesday. i hope the fishing is better there. it sure can't be as bad as this....pepe

Thanks for the reports.Been a couple of years since I came over and casted for the Kings at night just outside the mouth there in Portage but planning on it this fall.Refresh my memory if you can when does it normally get going over there when everyone does this? Seems like it was late Sept. early Oct. Thanks for the info...

i've killed em on labor day some yrs...went out today and casted the mouth early w/o success and one other boat was out early and they also had no luck...i then moved over to #4 marker...nw corner of port...and i did not mark a fish...there were two boats out about 4 miles offshore early but they didnt stay so i assume they didnt catch much either.....been very slow...steve

Thanks for the info. keep us informed on when it's time to head over.Sons old enough now and cant wait till he hooks a big king in the darkness casting.Talk about fun.......
